The Garden

I never had the opportunity to grow a garden as a kid (we lived at too high an elevation). I tried on and off to have a garden in my adult years — a community garden plot in North Boulder that I had to ride a bus to, a high-altitude garden attempt above Jamestown, and a neglected suburban Denver garden. After I got divorced, I lived in a few apartments and my need for a garden just got more and more pent up. Then I found Emma! This house came with a 30-year old mature garden and I’ve been trying to be her very best caretaker. I have enjoyed gardening and discovering what this land has to offer more than I ever could have dreamed.

Enjoy (and support) the Garden!

Shop for dried herbs and seeds.

Eventually I’m going to launch a Need-a-Plant? feature where if you need an herb, vegetable or fruit for your dinner, you can come grab it.

What is growing at Emma?
